What is it? A social tradition where friends or family meet at a bar to relax, converse, and enjoy a drink with some light finger foods (such as olives, cheese) without ruining their upcoming dinner.
The Drinks are usually a light, refreshing, and slightly bitter alcoholic beverage (like an Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Campari, or dry wine). The bitterness helps cleanse the palate and “open” the stomach.
