Demand for their wines saw their passion evolve into thriving businesses, some which are now the largest family owned wine companies in Australia today.

Piccolo Family Farm
Sitting on 20 acres just outside of Griffith, Piccolo Family Farm features a cellar door, citrus orchard, a small vineyard, market gardens and two acres of established manicured gardens.
The small vineyard features four Italian varietals carefully selected to complement the climate and soil type. Visitors to the Cellar Door can enjoy tastings of the farm’s wine range, ‘Lilias’, where the Piccolo family guides guests through the processes and stories of the farm. Tastings can be paired with a selection of pickles and preserves from the farm. The Cellar Door also features a pantry of Piccolo Family Farm products for sale.

The Aisling Distillery
The Aisling Distillery was founded in 2014 to specialize in Small Batch Premium Single Malt Whisky, Rum and more recently Gin and Vodka. They wanted to capture the Riverina also known as “the food bowl of Australia”, and the sheer beauty of the Griffith Region, New South Wales, the heart of the Murrumbidgee that is home to so many traditions.

Berton Vineyards
A must visit winery Cellar door when in the Riverina region! Award winning wines and friendly, knowledgeable staff are available for tasting six days a week.

Baratto Wines
Baratto wines is a family owned and operated boutique vineyard, winery and cellar door practising minimal intervention techniques both in the vineyard and winery.
As they are a working vineyard and winery they don’t have regular opening hours. They welcome drop-ins or call ahead to avoid disappointment.

McWilliam’s Wines
Come and visit the Riverina’s first winery at their iconic ‘big barrel’ cellar door in Hanwood. The McWilliam’s pioneered the wine region back in 1913 when John James (J.J.) McWilliam brought vine cuttings to the area and established the Hanwood site. A statue of J.J. takes pride of place at the front of their cellar door in honour of his vision and hard work.

Harvest HQ
Harvest HQ is a beautiful venue to just sit and enjoy a drink, and watch the world go by. With a small bar menu selection and some great regional produce to buy, Harvest HQ offers a great snapshot of our wine and produce scene in Griffith.
Visitors can book in to do a regional wine or gin tasting experience, great for those who may be short on time, and want to taste a wide range of products in one spot.
